Seremban, Negeri Sembilan, Malaysia, 19 June 2015 – Leading Negeri Sembilan property developer Matrix Concepts Holdings Berhad(Matrix Concepts; 金群利集团; Bloomberg: MCH:MK; Reuters: MATR.KL) announced today the appointment of two new Directors to the Board effective today.
- Appointment of Dato’ Lim Kiu Hock (拿督林貴福) as Executive Director (執行董事)Dato’ Lim holds a Bachelor of Science in Housing, Building and Planning from University Sains Malaysia. He is a member of the Chartered Institute of Building, UK (CIOB) and has served on the National Committee of the International Real Estate Federation (FIABCI).Dato’ Lim has more than 30 years of experience in property development. His last appointment was the Executive Director of Mah Sing Group, a position which he held from year 2006 until May 2015.
- Appointment of Dato’ Hon Choon Kim (拿督韓春錦) as Independent Non-Executive Director (獨立非執行董事)Dato’ Hon Choon Kim graduated with a Bachelor of Social Sciences (Econ) in 1976 from University Sains Malaysia.Dato’ Hon Choon Kim started his career in the government’s statistical department in 1977. Later, in 1986, he was elected as state assemblyman and was appointed as a state executive councilor of Negeri Sembilan. He was then elected to be a member of the Parliament in 1995 and was appointed as the Deputy Minister of Education from 1999 until 2008.
